“Hey I thought Appify was a site about local apps?”
You know, when we originally started digging around on this idea a few months ago, it WAS about local apps, because we personally love local apps, and we couldn’t find the good ones very easily.
But then we realized: every kind of app has this problem, of getting from user A to user Z. Why not make Appify a platform for people to discover all apps?
So we got rid of the local angle, and the site we’re launching over the next few weeks is about everything in the app universe. (The iPhone universe only for now - that will change soon.)
You can still ask local questions, of course - so it is still about local apps, we just aren’t forcing it down your throats.
